Best trails near Sillerberg

This tour includes the "difficult ascent to Windwurfeck" (not really worthwhile). Long ascent to the three marks with beautiful views of the Murnauer Moos, steep descent to Unterammergau, along the Ammer via Oberammergau back up to the Bärenbadflecken. The final downhill trail that follows is mostly rideable.

From the motorway exit Eschenlohe (625m) head south. Always follow the forest track towards Höhenberg. In Katzental turn left out of the valley. At 720m turn left onto the trail to the 7 benches and down to Oberau. Follow the Giessenbach footpath to St. Georg. On the Hirschbergweg or Spielleitenweg to Farchant (680m). From the motorway exit Eschenlohe (625m) in the direction of Höllenstein (630m). Shortly before the motorway exit, turn right towards Ettaler Mandl. Always follow the signs. After approx. 7km turn right steeply up into the forest, first on a cart track, later on a narrow path. You end up near Bärenbadflecken. From there, take a detour to the Soile Alm (1325m).
