Best partially-paved trails in Eschenlohe

After starting in Eschenlohe, the route leads through the Eschenlain valley, then over the Simetsberg up to the Walchensee viewpoint. Then with a trail option down to Wallgau. From Eschenlohe around the Herzogsstand. This variant leads along the rocky path. The highest point of the tour is 935 metres above sea level, making it a good spring or late autumn tour. On the ascent just before the Kesselbergsattel near Urfeld, there is a short stretcher section. The section directly on the B11 is of course very busy in good weather! Also be sure to ride the loop around the Walchensee peninsula - the colour of the lake here is gigantic!

This tour includes the "difficult ascent to Windwurfeck" (not really worthwhile). Long ascent to the three marks with beautiful views of the Murnauer Moos, steep descent to Unterammergau, along the Ammer via Oberammergau back up to the Bärenbadflecken. From the motorway exit Eschenlohe (625m) in the direction of Höllenstein (630m). Shortly before the motorway exit, turn right towards Ettaler Mandl. Always follow the signs.
