From Eschenlohe around the Herzogsstand. This variant leads along the rocky path. The highest point of the tour is 935 metres above sea level, making it a good spring or late autumn tour. On the ascent just before the Kesselbergsattel near Urfeld, there is a short stretcher section. The section directly on the B11 is of course very busy in good weather! Also be sure to ride the loop around the Walchensee peninsula - the colour of the lake here is gigantic!

The Zundereck is located on the ridge bordering the Kistenkar to the west. The tour requires good orientation skills in steep alpine terrain, but rewards you with impressive views of the Pfrühlmoos to the west below and the Kistenkar to the east below. Although the tour is not pathless, the existing paths lead through terrain that can be dangerous in terms of falling or slipping, so the hike is rated T4 and should only be undertaken by experienced hikers.
