This hike starts near Schellenberg Castle and leads through Schellenberg Forest, Baldeney Forest and the Hülsenhaine nature reserve in Schellenberg Forest. In Baldeney Forest, you have views of Lake Baldeney. A large part of the hike leads through wooded areas and is therefore well shaded.

The "normal" permanent CTF of the Essener RG 1900 e.V. from 2017. This route is not for "just for fun". Although this "normal" version is significantly less demanding, at approx. 42 km and over 700 metres in altitude, it is more challenging than most permanent routes!!!
