This route leads in a large loop through the hilly and wooded area south of Hohenwarth. The name of the trail comes from the small human settlements that are passed along the way. Apart from these settlements, the trail is heavily wooded with several spots for good views of the surrounding area. It is possible to visit the nearby peaks if desired.

Cross the main road at the fire station and walk to the Hubertus Chapel as described in Ho1. This time, leave the chapel on the left and stay on the tarmac road to Hudlach until you reach a sharp left-hand bend. At the end of the bend, the Ho3 markings point to the right.
