The trail climbs steadily uphill, passing the Hudlach chapel with its planks of the dead and the Hudlach mountain farm. In the direction of Mittagstein, past the memorial to the victims of the two world wars, the trail continues to the Kötztinger Hütte. Here there are wonderful views of the surrounding area.
