This route leads in a large loop through the hilly and wooded area south of Hohenwarth. The name of the trail comes from the small human settlements that are passed along the way. Apart from these settlements, the trail is heavily wooded with several spots for good views of the surrounding area. It is possible to visit the nearby peaks if desired.

From the fire station, head north, leaving the school on your left, along a meadow path and continue along the tarmac road until you reach the bridge at Hohenwarther Mühle and cross it. Now follow the road to Thening and cross the village until you reach a sharp left-hand bend. This circular hiking trail starts in Hohenwarth and leads to the Hohenbogen Diensthütte, which is located next to the Kohlriegel. The trail first crosses the River Regen, then leads through Oberzettling and Unterzettling before entering the forest on the ascent to the Hohenbogen Diensthütte. The way back is of course along the same route.

This time, leave the chapel on the left and stay on the tarmac road to Hudlach until you reach a sharp left-hand bend. At the end of the bend, the Ho3 markings point to the right. A beautiful forest path to Reitenberg begins here without any major inclines. From Reitenberg, there are various opportunities to join other hiking trails.
