Starting at the much smaller Lütsche Dam, this hike takes you around the idyllically situated Ohratal Dam. This is located on the north side of the Thuringian Main Ridge and always offers the opportunity for spectacular pictures of the large reservoir water. There are usually few hikers and cyclists here on weekdays.
The start is at a parking lot. There is also a restaurant nearby where you can stop for a bite to eat after the tour.
