Distinctive loop near the Lütsche dam in the Thuringian Forest Nature Park, Thuringia.
This special tour starts at the car park west of the Lütsche dam, near Ohrdruf. Some stamina, fitness and provisions should be brought for the route. The route initially runs in several loops along the southern bank of the dam, later circling the "Small Hohe Warte" and "Hohe Warte". It can be experienced at first hand how the raftsmen transported their timber here centuries ago, always with the diverse nature of the Thuringian Forest around. The hike is also special because it is the only one in Thuringia to pass through a tunnel! The upper Sieglitzteich pond is also a feast for the eyes for both humans and animals - in general, there are many far-reaching views of the Thuringian countryside to enjoy, especially from the "Ausgebrannten Stein". It is not possible to stop for refreshments en route.
