Point to point
Great cycle path in the Thuringian Forest. This wonderful tour starts at Rennsteig railway station. Apart from the section on the Schleusenberg, the tour leads downhill and offers great views, idyllic lakes and plenty of opportunities for interesting detours into the surrounding area. It is nice to stop off at Café Helene in Heckengereuth. Take particular care on the section down to Schönbrunn, as there is more pedestrian and car traffic here. Highlights: - Schönbrunn Spice Museum - Schönbrunn terrace pool - Ratscher Lake - Bertholdsburg Castle Schleusingen - Henneberg Museum Veßra Monastery
