Loop
Popular loop on the Priwall peninsula, Schleswig-Holstein.
This beautiful walking and hiking trail leads through the southern Priwall nature reserve. It runs alongside the water for some distance, along both the Trave and the Pötenitzer Wiek. There is something adventurous about discovering everything on this peninsula: in the north there is a bathing beach between the sea and dunes, and on the Trave the passing ships can be watched. This is a natural jewel and in spring and autumn a resting area for migratory birds and an important wintering area for waterfowl. No wonder they often accompany the hike. The Passat harbour with the Passat museum ship is also interesting.
It is possible to stop for refreshments en route.
It is possible to take the Priwall ferry from Travemünde (see tips).
