Adventurous hiking trail in Saxony.
The zig-zag path was laid out in 1844 following a Swiss model and was used to supply the newly built restaurant. It winds around the Lindenallee with its numerous steps and is less steep - the steps are therefore crossed several times. Today, however, the path is barely visible, so this is a rather adventurous hike on which fallen trees and hidden stages are to be expected. A certain level of fitness and sturdy footwear are therefore an advantage. Once the top is reached, there is a lookout tower and a beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding area. It is possible to return along the same path or via the stairs.
