Stage 6 of the long-distance hiking trail "Sächsischer Weinwanderweg", Saxony.
This is the sixth and final stage of the varied Saxon Wine Trail. It starts in beautiful Meissen, famous for its porcelain. As the starting point is at the railway station, the route can be reached by public transport and made into a day trip.
The route initially leads away from the Elbe via charming villages, but towards the end of the hike there are once again wonderful views of the river landscape.
There are overnight stops and refreshment stops along the way.
