The start is in the beautiful Wadrilltal nature reserve near Wedern. First, the path leads north to the Preussenkopf mountain. It goes past Buweiler and Oberlöstern, mainly through valleys and across meadows. The loop continues west to Gehweiler and is like a walk across a vast landscape of forest, fields and meadows, leading into the valley of the Wadrill River. The tour now continues south to the well-known burial mounds. These are two tombs from Roman times that have been preserved quite well.
