From the parking lot you cross the L309 and walk along the Hillscheider brook past the Forellenhof. Where the brook turns to the north, you cross the road again. Continue in the direction of Kuckucksberg, which you circle - on somewhat steeper paths. You pass the Bembermühle and the hidden Limes wall. This dates back to Roman times and has been a World Heritage Site since 2005. Past the Puschenkopf, the trail then leads back to the Feisternachtbach valley and back to the starting point.
