This route follows stage 9 of the Moselsteig, connecting the historic town of Neumagen-Dhron with Kesten or Osann-Monzel on a section that stays closer to the riverbanks than almost any other. The hike is defined by the constant transition between idyllic vineyards and pristine mixed beech forests. Scenic highlights include views of the famous Piesport loop of the Moselle and the striking cliffs of the Moselle Loreley.
