This path leads from Landstuhl to the ruins of Nanstein Castle and the Roman ruins of Heidenfelsen. You can start the tour either from Nanstein Castle or Landstuhl. At both points there are possibilities to park the car. Starting from Landstuhl the staircase at the community center is the starting point. From here you cross the Landstuhler Bruch until you reach Nanstein Castle, the landmark of the Sickingen town of Landstuhl, that is already visible from afar. On the way you pass the viewpoint "Herrengärtchen" from where you have a good view over the air base Ramstein far into the North Palatinate highlands.
