This charming circular route starts in Elmstein. There is parking and also a bus stop. The path first leads in the direction of the Appenthal. From there it goes on idyllic forest paths through the hilly landscape of the Palatinate Forest past the Großer Schweinsberg, Bierenberg past Iggelbach uphill to the Mitteleiche car park. From there it goes east towards Elmstein. On the way is the Ritterstein 253 "Kurfürtsenstuhl"
