Schmidter Panorama Route is a 13.0 kilometer moderately trafficked loop trail located near Nideggen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany that features a lake and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and walking and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

The hike presents great views and remote views. Start of the hike in Schmidt, Wanderparkplatz church. Walk along the marked hiking trail No. 40. Near the village square it goes towards sports field to Kommerscheidt. From here head to the "beautiful view" (Rursee). Then via Scheidbaum to Schlehbachtal to Harscheidt. Here cross the B 399 to reach again over the heights of Schmidt over sports field to the starting point (church). The route can also begin at the first direction "Nice view". At the wayside beautiful panorama views surround you. Since this trail is not signposted to the public, it is recommended to bring along a hiking map Rureifel Nr. 2.
