The fourth day's stage of the Mittelland route starts out along the Sieg from Siegen to Netphen. Over the picturesque Obernautalsperre, it goes through green forests and meadows to Bad Laasphe, where Laasphe and Banfe flow into the Lahn. From here it's only about 10km along the Lahn to the stage destination Biedenkopf.
