This hike definitely promises a varied nature experience. It goes over meadows, through wide valley landscapes or on dreamlike forest paths through the Ripsdorf Forest and the Münstereifel State Forest. The "Ripsdorfer Brothaus" from the 17th century gives it its name. Bread was baked there at the time and transported to Blankenheim via the bread path. The route runs partly on the old bread path.
The starting and finishing point is the St. Johann Baptist Church in Ripsdorf.
