This trail was named after Pejo (Peter-Josef) Weiß (1926-2012) - a German journalist and local historian. It starts at the hikers' car park in Dreistegen. The trail is signposted no. 65. There are numerous information boards along the route that provide information about the special features of the Upper and Middle Rur Valley nature reserve. After a varied and steep ascent, a break at the barbecue hut in Mützenich can be taken.
