Flat to the Erft and back, in between only the foothills!
Across the Rhine to the northern outskirts of Bonn, briefly up to the foothills and then leisurely to Klein-Vernich. If you love flat stretches over pleasant farm tracks, then this route is just right for you! The tour crosses the Rhine, crosses the foothills between Bornheim and Heimerzheim, then runs flat to the Erft. On the way back there is a slight ascent and a rapid descent again over the foothills, and then again flat over the Rhine back to Bonn-Oberkassel.
