The towers and walls of the town and castle of Blankenberg rise about 80 m above the Sieg, on a “bare mountain”. This short and varied hike provides plenty of information about the history of the town and castle. There are also spectacular views of the Sieg Valley and from the heights above the Adscheider Bach to enjoy. The path across the vineyards and a tour of the castle grounds with a magnificent view from the keep into the Sieg valley add to the variety.
