This popular loop starts at Burg Castle. It is named after the Burg pretzel, which, unlike the pretzel, is made from sweet dough. The hiking sign for the pretzel trail is a B in a circle. This is the smaller version. It leads from the starting point in the direction of Oberes Sengbachtal to the dam of the same name. It has been one of the first drinking water reservoirs in Germany since 1903. The route continues along the Wupper via the Hermann Löhns monument to Wiesenkotten and finally through the hilly area back to the starting point.
