Charming route through the Salzufler Stadtwald forest, North Rhine-Westphalia.
This is a beautiful route with predominantly gentle gradients and mostly well-maintained paths. It starts at the parking lot on Wüstener Strasse and initially leads along the hay path around the Vierenberg.
A highlight of the tour is the Stumpfe Turm, a remnant of the old fortifications in Salzuflen. It was once used to monitor the salt road over the Weser. As the tower was partially destroyed during the Thirty Years' War, it is not accessible.
