Culturally historical circular hike awarded as a quality route for Wanderable Germany This route ensures complete relaxation and helps slow down a stressful everyday life. It also combines nature with cultural and historical highlights. On the approximately 6 kilometers you travel back to the Stone Age, to the beginnings of civilization. The starting point Oerlinghausen is well equipped with archaeological sites. A special highlight is a visit to the Oerlinghausen Archaeological Open-Air Museum. There you can also borrow a rucksack, which has little surprises in store for the hike and encourages active learning. The route itself follows the hiking symbol A8 - a black sign with a backpack.
