Stage 4 of the "Schweriner See Rundtour" long-distance hiking trail, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
The Schweriner See round tour is a 63 km long loop around the Schwerin lake and is one of the most beautiful long-distance hiking trails in northern Germany. This is the fourth and last stage of the Schweriner See loop. The less than 10 km long hike begins in Mueß and ends at Schwerin Castle or, alternatively, at Schwerin train station. You pass one of the most popular beaches in the region in Zippendorf, where it is particularly worthwhile to take a relaxing break in summer. There are numerous places to stay overnight ans well as restaurants.
