Welfen RTF 2020 Tour 4

Official route of the RTF. This challenging long-distance tour leads deep into the northern Harz foreland and combines sporty climbs with flatter passages. The route leaves the outskirts of Braunschweig and heads for the wooded ridges of Elm and Asse, where winding roads through dense beech forests await. After overcoming the metres in altitude, the landscape opens up and, on a clear day, offers views of the nearby Harz silhouette. The way back often runs along the lowlands of the River Oker, characterized by extensive fields and avenues.
