A wonderful hike that leads through the wild nature of the Pietzmoor bog. The start is the car park at the bus stop "Schneverdingen, Höpen". There is also a small kiosk and public bathrooms here.
Right at the start, the trail leads through the heather garden, where there are over 200,000 plants and beautiful flowers can be discovered all year round. The route continues through the heath and towards Pietzmoor bog. Especially in August and September, the heather blooms in its typical purple colour. The moor is home to sundew, cotton grass and dragonflies. The route follows boardwalks through the mystical landscape.
