The starting point is the car park at the Oderteich, which is also served by public transport buses. From there, the Rehberger Grabenweg is followed southwards through a beautiful forest area. On the way there are some information points about the highly interesting history of the ditch. At Goetheplatz, recognizable by a board, two benches and the cliffs in the background, the path branches off towards Hedwigs-Quelle. Now circumnavigating the cliffs, it goes back to the starting point via rarely hiked paths.
