Popular loop trail through Hanover and the Calenberger Land, Lower Saxony. This route, which is suitable for cycling, running or hiking, connects many of Hanover's green spaces with each other. The tour starts near the Eilenriede, which is one of the largest urban forests in all of Europe. The famous Herrenhausen Gardens are reached via Vahrenwald and Hainholz - a short tour through the Georgengarten (admission free) as well as the Great Garden and the Berggarten (subject to a fee) is definitely recommended.
