The Urwald Sababurg nature reserve is the oldest of the Hessian protected areas. A total of three loop trails lead through the old forest, of which the red/woodpecker loop trail is the longest. The starting point is the Drecktor hiking car park, from where you walk on natural paths around the Kuhberg nature reserve. Despite the short distance, hikers can look forward to all kinds of sights.
