The route is well suited for beginners, although there are at least a few steep climbs to overcome. It is nice that after leaving the city area, almost only forest and field paths are used. Along the Main to Dettingen, then further east into the wooded area criss-crossed by small streams. There are beautiful hills here that offer a wide view. In between, fields and small towns alternate with the dense green. Accessible by bus and train. There are places to stop for refreshments at the start and end of the route.
