The twelfth and last section of the certified quality trail runs through the varied forest and field landscapes between Battenhausen and Frankenau. You pass some nice little towns, some of which have refreshment stops. A special attraction along the way is the Haina monastery, a former Cistercian abbey, which is one of the most important high Gothic monuments in Germany.
