This is a very beautiful and scenic loop that leads up to the Große Nalle. There is also an idyllic, disused basalt quarry with a small lake very close to the mountain. In the past, basalt was often quarried in the Rhön. After work ceased, the pits filled with water and are now basalt lakes, which are not always easy to find. A highlight of this lake is the stone ramp that leads up to the water. Above the lake, there is also a magnificent view of the Rhön.
Attention! The path to the top of the mountain is steep, unmarked and partly secured by steel cables. Extreme caution is required here, as the rock faces descend steeply and are not secured!
