Nature excursion in the Löcknitz Valley, Brandenburg.
The starting point of the excursion is the parking lot at the Grünheide/Schule bus stop. By kayak or canoe, the route follows the course of the Alte Löcknitz through the beautiful, wooded Löcknitz Valley. The Old and New Löcknitz join at the Wupatzsee lake and the route follows their course to Erkner.
Numerous meanders, dense tree cover and, with a bit of luck, even the kingfisher can be expected on the natural Löcknitz. The element of water can be enjoyed to the full in a primeval forest-like landscape. The route can be easily reached from Berlin with the RE1 train to Fangschleuse. The paddling fun ends at the train station in Erkner.
