This beautiful round starts at the castle in Seefeld. You hike through the castle garden in a southerly direction through the Kiental to the Andechs monastery, the oldest place of pilgrimage in Bavaria. Here it is worth taking a break and tasting a glass of the famous Andechser beer (refreshments available). The way back enchants with lots of nature; the path runs through partly dense beech forests and often along babbling brooks.
Arrival by bus and train is possible (access from Seefeld-Hechendorf S-Bahn station).
