This hike leads around the Geroldsee, also known as the Wagenbrüchsee, which is considered one of the most beautiful moorland lakes in the Alpine foothills. The route begins in the small village of Gerold near Krün and leads along gentle paths through the famous hummocky meadows of Alpenwelt Karwendel.
