It starts in the center of Krün. As the name suggests, 3 beautiful lakes are visited: Barmsee, Geroldsee and Grubsee. The tour through Gerold and Klais leads across open meadows and fields and through shady forest sections. In Krün there are inns and cafés to stop by.
The hike can also be started from the Klais train station. There are bistros and a toilet directly at the station.
