Spitzingsee - Tegernsee

Road bike circuit from Baldham, 155km and 1,617 m elevation gain (barometric measurement). Duration: approx. 5:30 a.m. One of the most beautiful courses in the pre-Alpine region. This is the shortest of the beautiful routes from Baldham. Start and end point near S-Bahn (Baldham station). Sufficient free parking spaces in Park & Ride by S-Bahn or in side streets. For an impression of the route and individual highlights, see the geotagged route photos. The route mainly leads via quiet side streets, only at Tegernsee is the (alternative) main street. Note: The course direction is designed in such a way that you go up the Spitzingsattel and down over Valepp. To do this, turn left at the fork at the Zornedinger Sportpark. Further note: Until May, there is usually snow on the outermost tip of the Valepp valley (transition from Roter to Weißer Valepp), although mostly shorter passages. The course connects parts of the routes of the Tegernsee and Alpine triathlons. At the Spitzingsattel 4 km with an average gradient of 10%. Then Valepp, Tegernsee and back via Kreuzstrasse.
