Very nice trail through the Ebersberg forest on the marathon distance. 42.195km and 208Hm. Start and finish near Baldham S-Bahn. Parking is available in the Park & Ride car park. Mainly easy to walk, some places with thick roots. Also possible as a hike or by bike. Very nice single trails on forest floor. The most beautiful trails you can find here. Route is> 80% in the forest. The trails are marked hiking trails. At Ludwigshöhe there is a wonderful view of a lookout tower (approx. 30 m). Lake Egglburg is a bird sanctuary with many native bird species. Usually, the Ebersberger Forst is very monotonous because of its strictly square path layout, but these varied hiking trails (including a natural history, a natural sculpture and a trim trail) break this grid and are among the most beautiful in the south of Munich. Due to the status as a hiking trail, falling trees are removed regularly. The Forsthaus St. Hubertus is a beautiful beer garden in the middle of the forest, where you can take a break.
