On this eventful hiking trail, Snow White's escape from Lohr to the Bieber miners ("dwarves") is re-enacted. In keeping with the story, there are 7 mountains to conquer. The hike starts at Lohr Castle Square and ends in Bieber.
The hiking trail leads along forest paths at times, but also along lonely forest paths for longer stretches - with the exception of Partenstein, it does not pass any villages directly (it was a secret escape). The only places to stop for refreshments along the way, apart from Partenstein, are at Wiesbütt.
If you are not on the run from your own stepmother, you can divide the route into two daily stages on foot. Frammersbach, for example, is a good place to stop for the night (only a 1km detour down to the village).
With the exception of the ascent from Lohr through the "Klapper"-Hohlweg, the route is also suitable for experienced MTB riders, although the forest path sections can sometimes be more soggy after rain.
