SalzAlpenSteig Stage 6: Inzell - Bad Reichenhall

This route follows Stage 6 of the SalzAlpenSteig, traveling from Inzell to Bad Reichenhall on a longer day that links moorland, waterfalls, and the edge of the Berchtesgaden Alps. From Inzell, it passes through the Schmelz area and quieter wetland terrain, continues toward the Weißbach Gorge and the Weißbach Falls, and then leads into Bad Reichenhall, giving the stage a more varied character than a simple valley walk and a clear sense of drawing closer to the more dramatic mountain terrain of the later sections. Overnight stays are usually in inns or village accommodations in Bad Reichenhall.
