Varied circular hike around Bubenreuth in the Bavarian Middle Franconia.
The circular trail is a wonderful high-altitude trail with fantastic views of Franconian Switzerland. It starts in Bubenreuth and can be easily reached by train. The trail leads through the forest past several ponds to Atzelsberg Castle. The Atzelsberg beer garden provides refreshments. A short loop around the fairytale pond reveals the pure idyll of the area. Finally, another castle awaits in Adlitz.
The way back leads past the Marloffstein clay pit via the "Am Rundblick" trail. As the name suggests, hikers are accompanied by beautiful views. At Rathsberg Castle, the route heads north back to the starting point.
