This is the route of the HK21 healing climate hiking trail. The start and finish is parking lot P4 on the Isarpromenade in Bad Tölz. From there, the road crosses the river to the Kalvarienberg, downstream towards the Isar power station, to the Wengleinhöhe, to Aberg towards Prösteln to Fischbach via a short steep climb. The route is partly wooded, shady, and partly sunny. It goes over meadows/field paths and gravel roads, sometimes along the forest's edge. Overall, there are moderate differences in altitude.
