This hiking trail has everything that makes a good route: sights in town, historical sights, as well as beautiful landscape with fields, forest and the view from the outer foothills of the Ostalb. From there you can see 3 districts: Heidenheim (Baden-Württemberg), Dillingen an der Donau and Günzburg (both Bavaria). The path is also suitable for families and can be walked without obstacles. For cyclists there is also a charging station for e-bikes at Brenz Castle. The car park behind the town hall in Sontheim is centrally located and can be used free of charge.
