It starts in Freiburg-Littenweiler. From the train station in a southeasterly direction to Kappel and from there across lush meadows into the magnificent mountain forest. From now on it goes steadily uphill, but the overall incline is moderate and easy to master. That's why you can fully concentrate on the small paths, enchanting streams and beautiful views. If you could only live on air and forest, this would be a perfect place. Caution is required as there are a multitude of paths in the forest and some crossings connect 6 and more paths together.
