The Hornisgrinde is the highest mountain in the northern Black Forest and is known for its high moor and the fantastic panoramic views in the summit region. With the exception of three climbs, some of which are shorter, this very relaxed circular route to the summit of the Hornisgrinde starts at the parking lot at Mümmelsee.
As the Mümmelsee and the Hornisgrinde are among the most popular hiking destinations in the Black Forest, this circular trail can be a little more crowded, especially on sunny weekends.
