From the Mummelsee, a beautiful forest path leads to the Hornisgrindeturm, where the former bunker and a hut are located. The highest point of the mountain is reached at the other end of the high moor. Then on to the ox barn. This is followed by a slow descent through a magnificent forest to Hinterlangenbach and from there back to the starting point. This loop convinces with many beautiful views. Especially from the Hornisgrinde into the Rhine plain when the weather is clear. There are places to stop for refreshments along the way and numerous parking spaces at the starting point. It can get quite crowded on a sunny weekend.
